Hi everyone, I'm new on here. Sad I didn't come across this site before my fet. Would have helped me a lot. But I had my fet a week ago and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a positive. Glad I'm here now. Been pretty difficult not to get people around you to talk to about the journey. It's Really difficult in my country to talk about things like this so I don't even know who has been through Ivf. Please keep me in your prayers, I will test in a weeks time. 🤗🤗🤗

From your name I quickly guessed you are a Nigerian. Lovely to have you here. Stay tuned and be full of positivity. I know it's difficult to get people to discuss this with in Nigeria. I'm also a Nigerian. However trust God, eat rightly, and live each day as it comes, don't be anxious but commit all to God's hands.

I was gonna ask from you name, lol. And I'm sure you are Yoruba. You know how people don't discuss such issues. It's been tough. You don't even know who's been down the lane, so sad. So you practically believe everyone's conceived naturally *sigh*. It's my first and the LAST. Only one embryo out of four survived the thawing process, had only one transferred.

Yes I am Yoruba :). I know how it feels, though I didn't go through this stage in Nigeria so I never personally witnessed it, but my mum is a registered midwife nurse, and through her work and advice to people, I can relate with how it feels.

So why is it the first and LAST? Did you have any fresh transfer done?

Thanks Scarlett, I'm def good with silly questions 🙈🙈. I know Ild ask questions everyday. Well I'm in this alone. Been Married for almost four years and been ttc since then. I know Ild get all the strength and support I need from everyone here. 🤗🤗

He has no idea of what physical and emotional battle it's been for me. He lives his day like nothing's going on. It became more emotional for me the day I had my fet, now I'm always on the edge and practically quarrel with him every minute for support, I guess my hormones finally took over my patience ☺️ . My immediate family and a friend has made the journey worth it though. But then it's just online communication, everyone's in the USA and I'm back home in Nigeria. But my mum got in two days before my transfer just to help me get through.

Just wanted to say I'm keeping everything crossed for you and wishing you so much luck and hope you get your bfp.Ivf can be such a sad and lonely time please try to reach out and get family or friends support if you can. I had my fet on 19th October and my test day is today. Xxx
