Fertility bracelet, does anyone else believe it will work?

Sorry I haven't been on here in a long time I hope all you ladies are staying strong and get everything you wish for.

I have heard positive things about fertility jewellery and positive results from my own friends. I'm due to see the consultant in sept to talk about FET and I believe this is easier and more successful than ivf. My first cycle failed and I have since lost all hope but I need to feel positive again, would anyone recommend trying or has tried fertility jewellery? X

Hi Crowpingpongg. I haven't heard of any scientific proof behind this idea, but do what you feel is right for you. Good luck! Diane

Thanks Diane I hope your doing well. I think it's more of a chakra thing to help you stay positive I guess it won't harm me

Hi. Go for it then, if you feel it will help. If you don't try, you won't find out. Good luck! Diane

I have just looked this up - I too didnt realise it was a 'thing'. Apparently elephants and turtles are good to have around you. 'The elephant has long been a symbol of love and virility. The elephant also symbolizes fertility because Buddha is said to be conceived when he entered his mother’s womb as a white elephant. Those wishing to have children should wear elephants on their person, or place elephant images in their bedroom to increase fertility luck. An elephant with its trunk up brings good fortune'. 'Turtles are a symbol of fertility and vitality. Known for their patience, endurance, longevity and tenacity. The turtle is a symbol of creation and motherhood. Turtles are widely known as totems for protection, this can be very helpful in maintaining a pregnancy.'

Thank you for this info - I didn't know anything about these bracelets but 3 months ago my father had a heart attack in Crete and whilst out there I brought a bracelet with a turtle on, I haven't take it off since..fingers crossed it'll bring me luck this cycle x

I suppose that makes it even more symbolic that your father bought that for you since he is also protecting you in a way as well as potentially bringing you good luck to your fertility x

Definitely that's what I thought when I read your comment to, funny the things we can be drawn to without knowing any possible meaning x

I got a fertility necklace off etsy and wore it throughout my icsi. It made me feel more positive about things. When I got my bfp I started wearing a pregnancy protection bracelet as well. It was the first thing I grabbed when I went into the hospital in labour and my labour went really well so who knows, maybe it did help.

In reality it's probably just a placebo effect but I do know the power of a placebo and figured it can't do any harm and anything is worth a try

I bought my bracelet today containing a turtle and moonstone, rose quartz and amethyst all known for healing, positivity and fertility. No harm in trying it.

This is the first time I've heard about it. It sounds interesting, although I do not believe much in those things. But I do not lose anything with trying LOL. I'll see if I can get one this week.

So sorry for your loss it's very sad but hopefully fet will work. My first round failed and I'm due for fet next. No harm in using something to comfort yourself. Good luck
