Hi ladies I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and got to see our little baby embryo on the screen on Tuesday . Was truly amazing after all the drama I had a few months back x just wanted some advice as for nearly 2 weeks now I have been suffering terribly with morning sickness 🤢🤢🤢x I'm sick morning - day time - and night . I also have no energy . Work have told me to take as much time off as needed which I can't thank them enough for. I've been reading crackers mash and anything dry little and often helps but so far nothing is helping me . Do any of you ladies have any tips as I'm really struggling ???? 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢😩😩😩😩😩😩🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Congratulations on your scan.

I didn’t suffer so severely so I can only add a few things you could try; some toast, ginger biscuits/tea, someone on here said lemonade really helped them. Try to make sure you’re keeping your fluids up, a sports drink with electrolytes in is useful (doctor recommended). Good luck xx

Oh no, there is nothing worse than feeling constantly sick.

I’ve no experience of morning sickness but I get a lot of nausea from some other conditions I have and i can then only eat cereal. Cheerios without milk are best, eaten very slowly.

I hope it gets better x

Congratulations hun on seeing your little bean.

Iv been reading a lot and magnesium is suggested a lot for us a lot of us be deficient and it's relaxing to have in baths and even put in a spray bottle the best way to absorb it is through our skin. It's supposed to help with sickness in pregnancy and they say it's good for pregnancy. The usual Ginger biscuits whenever I feel sick I use a hard boiled sweet which helps but I wouldn't advice due too sugar. If your being sick too much though and not keeping anything down do go to see your gp as you maybe getting dehydrated they can help you. Hope it eases soon hun 💗🤗😘

I had sickness most days from about wk 7 to wk 12. I found bland food like Rice Krispies, toast (with hardly any butter) rich tea biscuits, lemonade, plain jacket potatoes etc. Just try and eat little and often as for energy levels just listen to your body and rest/sleep when needed. On a positive mine did pass and I got and still have loads of energy back now xxx

Congrats on your pregnancy! MS is v unpleasant. It should pass when you enter your second trimester. In the mean time dry toast, breadsticks, lemonade, ginger nut biscuits may help. Try and rest when you can. Xo

I haven't been in your position however my mum had morning sickness everyday all day. She reckoned a biscuit in bed helped before she got up a wee bit. One of my best friends was the same & she tried the lot, couldn't keep water down. The best thing is to keep hydrated and if not seek help. She left it & it turned out dehydration made it all worse & landed on a drip which made her so much better. Look after yourselfxx

Try travel sickness bands too as they can help you feel just that bit more balanced - eat in bed when you get in before you go to sleep and before you wake up and honestly if it's really bad abandon any plans and just hide in your house and keep trying to eat and drink - I had to in the end as it got so bad! It really is horrific - had it from week 4 to 20 (not many people seem to have it past week 12-16 though so don't worry!) - you will get through it though, just hold on!

Wishing you all the best that it passes soon x

Congratulations :)

I have ginger biscuits and they help, also they do sickness bands that are supposed to help, ive ordered them so cant say if they actually work or not! Good luck x

I am 25 weeks and still being sick nearly everyday... when I was at your stage it was horrendous. Firstly see your GP. Mine was rubbish and had I had to go to hospital to have anti sickness meds. But speak up... I didn't enough, as i live in a small village there is only one doctor but pursue it with them... its obvioulsly having a detrimental impact on your existence. I became really depressed with it, never went out etc. Secondly anti sickness bands did ease it very mildly, I went through 3 pairs! Finally no amount of ginger or crackers helped, I now have what I would say is normal morning sickness which I can cope with despite it being a pain that I throw up everyday it's bearable, I completely sympathise with you! People do not understand how bad it is unless you have had it severely... good luck.

Thank you so much for all your messsges x sorry for late reply but just got home from hospital as started bleeding . Ended up in a&e. Glad to say baby is ok but I have a build up of blood below my womb which they say is nothing serious but could cause miscarriage so need to keep an eye on it . . I'm just so drained . Why is it you see people smoking drinking stuffing their faces with crap and they have the perfect pregnancy ????? . 👺👺👺👺👺👺👺
