I had my baseline scan this morning, all looked good so I'm starting my stimms tomorrow. This is the first time I'm going to be using Gonal F. I asked the nurse about taking it out of the fridge before injecting it and she said it'll be fine.... I'm sure I've read about it hurting less if out of the fridge??
Other than being tired I haven't had any side effects from the prostrap injection. This cycle is so different. X

You're right! Any injection must be brought down close to room temperature before administering it. Otherwise, the considerably cold content when injected into the muscle or blood vessel tends to numb the area. Some people (not all) get a hard nodule type inflammation from straight out of the refrigerator injections; even for common Tetanus injections that may have been administered without getting it to room temperature. It's the hard nodule on the administration sight after that hurts. Also, rolling the vial between the palms helps mix the content thoroughly and re-dissolve all the viable particles. So, rolling it in your palms (be careful not to put too much pressure or drop it) for a few times will not harm.
I never administered Gonal F though, but the pen is just a multidose-syringe I guess. Well, you shouldn't rub syringe but only vials so I'm not sure if it can be done with a pen. Better avoid unless there are some directions on how to do it from a proven source. You can leave the pen at room temperature for about a minute or two though. That somewhat avoids the hurting you were talking about.
