My medication was delivered to my dads house yesterday while i was in work i had asked on the phone if it needed refrigerating so i could tell my dad to put it straight in fridge i was told on the phone no it did not need to go in the fridge i did not get home from work until after 10pm last night so waited until today to pick it up after work only to find out after opening it it needed keeping in the fridge should i be concerned about the delay in it being kept refrigerated?

Which meds are you on?

Many of then have conflicting advice

Even from the manufacturer sometimes with variations

If yours were delivered from stork then they tend to be over cautious and suggest refrigeration

However if you called them and they said you didn't - does the delivery note come with conflicting info?

Would check manufacturers guidelines inside the meds box, check witj your clinic and/or ring drugs company again

If manufacturer PIL sheet doesnt stipulate it I'm sure you're fine. Most of them can be room temp

I used menopur and it didn't need to be refrigerated but it came dry in a vial and we had to add the liquid ourselves. Is yours the same?

I have used menopor previously and have never stored it in the fridge but I would double check with your clinic xx

Was in it cooler bag packaging? My understanding is it if needs refrigeration it will come in cold packaging which should have kept it safe. Xo

Wasn't in cold packaging

Then hopefully that means it should be OK as any of my things that needed the fridge all came packaged as such, definitely worth giving them a call though xo

I’ve never been told to store my menopur in the fridge. On a positive we are not in the thick of summer, so hopefully your meds should be ok 💕 xx

My menopur is stored ambient at room temp. The only one i had to refrigerate was the cetrorelix, it came in a cool box with lots of stickers to keep cold.
