First scan after meds

So today i had my scan. I have 1 follicle on the right that is mature but 10 small on the left. They have decided to sacrifice the large one so that the small ones can grow at the same rate. I'm anxious that I only have 10 if they all get to a mature state. I know u only need 1 but what is the 'Normal amount they expect?

Doctor told me yesterday that between 8-10 mature follicles is a good number. Because you've had your meds increased you'll probably produce more follicles anyway by the time you go for your next scan and those 10 originals will have also grown in size you'll be fine sweet xxxx
