Has anyone heard of embryo glue? Our consultant said we could do this with our next ivf in September and just want to know if anyone has had it before? Is it different to having the scratch??

When I had my first ivf cycle (funded) they didn't offer it to us as it wasn't included but she said on our second one they could offer it to us, seems silly that they don't just do it as standard while doing the transfer

I am not even sure what it involves or how effective it is? x

Hiya

I paid extra for this on my 1st round of ivf. It's made up of natural things in your body and can help with implantation. Our cycle failed but it's not put me off having it done next time.

We used it on our only IVF cycle and I am now 4 months pregnant. It is hyaluronic acid that is supposed to mimic ideal conditions in the uterus. We went private so were charged extra for this, but I felt it couldn't hurt to try! :)

Our NHS clinic used it as standard which means that there's been sufficient research on it to show it improves chances otherwise NHS wouldn't fund it. BFN for us but not necessarily because of that xxx
