I would give your clinic a ring and ask their advice. I know lots of ladies on here have bled and it's been fine but worth getting professional advice anyway. If you've been discharged from your clinic (I was after 7wk scan) then I'd give EPU a ring. Hope it's all ok.
I think it's a good idea to call up tomorrow and arrange another scan. As Lynnr54 says lots of ladies do bleed for sometimes unknown reason and all is fine with pregnancy. Keeping everything crossed for you xxx
Hi Lisa
I just wanted to say I had exactly the same thing, started to bleed at 7 weeks when I wipe, nothing too heavy but was very worrying all the same. I went to epu and all was well. It carried on for 4 weeks and then stopped. I am now 12 weeks and all is still well. I was told it could be implantation bleeding at little one burrows in further. Fingers crossed for you xxx
There was a clot sister that has me concerned. Did you have clots? Xxx
I had very dark to the point of black clots. I was told that if it was bright red and so heavy as to soak a pad in 30 mins try not to worry. I did have one day where it seemed brighter and heavier but it didn't last. I would call your clinic or EPU, they are open on sundays but probably wont have any scanning equipment on weekends. They may ask you to go in if it gets heavier. I know it is really scary but I just had to get used to it and to be honest I did. I think I just clung onto the fact that I had 2 scans during this time and all seemed fine xxx
Hey I think a little blood is common but very scary, however I would speak to your clinic. They may do a scan for reassurance. Try to take it easy today though!xx
How very scary for you. It's not fair that we have to contend with crap like this after getting a bfp. Hopefully it's just a little blip. Get yourself some advice or checked out soon though xx
Hope everything OK hun. Bleeding is common in pregnancy. Hopefully it's just normal pregnancy stuff and nothing to worry about. Try speak epu if you can see what they advice. hope your OK 😘😘
Thanks all. It's a Sunday so can't contact anyone. It will be tomorrow when I get to call a doctor or the EPU. Thanks ladies. I had a long day yesterday. 12 hours at my father in laws 80th. Was feeling rotten for most of it. Kept asking my OH could I leave as I was unwell but he wouldn't. Furious with him now today xxx
Well I hope you're relaxing as much as possible to make up for yesterday. And I hope OH is making a roast dinner and washing up! xx
Oh Lisa, hope it's easing, sounds like its light if you don;t need any pads. My friend bled heavily in her pregnancy, but all was well.
Hope you get some good rest today, let us know how you are doing.. xxxxx
Bless you, take it easy today and if really worried get your self to a and e. Big hugs xx
I know it's had not to but try not to panic too much (easier said than done). I had too massive bleeds with lots of clots and enough blood to fill a pad in minutes both times in the space of four days but everything was fine and I'm 16 weeks pregnant now xx
Thanks ladies. It seems to have stopped. It was only when I wiped. My pregnancy is a high risk one due to chronic lung disease. That's why I am so cross with my husband. I am in bed most of the day today. I will ring the epu and book a scan. Lisa xxxxx
