Hi all. I don't normally say much here as I'm on my first round of IVF and don't often know what to say but find it invaluable to read everyone's experience.
I am currently 9dp5dt and two days ago (Saturday), I started to bleed a small amount of red (not pink) blood in the evening. Yesterday, it became brown and today red this morning (sorry if tmi). I gave in this morning and did a test as had resigned myself to it being negative but it came back with a very strong pink positive line. My otd is supposed to be 16 days after egg collection which is Wednesday - in 2 day's time.
I feel like it's too late for implantation and not quite the right colour either so am assuming that something is going wrong. I do have a cervical erosion/ectropion (and bleed a lot after smear tests/investigations and sometimes a little after scans) so is it at all possible that the cyclogest is irritating it and causing the bleeding? I do feel a bit sore when using the pessaries too.
I was going to call my clinic today but in the in information document that I was given after transfer, it said that bleeding is normal during 2ww. But is red bleeding normal? I don't know what to think and would be grateful for any thoughts or experience with this!

Hey hun, please don't give up hope. It's I had brown/red blood at 9dp5dt and I had a positive to!! It must have been implantation bleeding. I am currently 7 weeks xxx
Thank you! I think I will do another test tomorrow. I have to call the clinic on Wednesday so unless I am driven crazy tomorrow, I'll wait to ask them on Wednesday xx
Yeh I don't get why mine is two weeks after transfer on a five day blast. Its just cruel!! Lol. I'm going to phone them one day before on the Friday though cos nobody will really be around on the Saturday and I'm not waiting until Monday!!! Feeling really crampy tonight, back ache, knee aches. Just like my period.. This wait is so worrying! Xx
Thank you! My mind seems to have gone a bit mad mad during this process but it helps me feel a bit more sane knowing that others had similar experiences xx
Thank you all so much for your replies! They really set my mind at ease. Just to give you an update, yesterday was otd and it was definitely a bfp! I called the clinic and as the bleeding stopped on Tuesday, they said it's perfectly normal for bleeding to happen at this stage, happens to lots of women and not to worry unless it starts up again xx
