Ivf information evening

Hi guys hope ur all well,

So alittle update Iv had my blood test and hubby has had his second semen analysis and we have signed all the consent forms with the nurse.

So I was just wondering what's next?

Hubby and I went to a information evening which was really helpful we got to meet the nurse and the consultant ran through the procedure and at the end we asked questions . I suprisingly feel alittle better about it all.

Do you know what protocol you will be on yet?

I've realised, sometimes it's better doing things than thinking about them. IVF is awful to think about but not quite so bad in actual reality.

When are you due to start?xxx

Iv not been made aware of what protocol yet though I am nervous and feeling unsure

Hi - if your ready to go and had anti viral clear tests then you should start on day 21 after the start date of your last period. The tests for HIV and Hepatitis are only valid for three months so do ensure if your forward booking in your diary not to wait too long. I have just started injections today so know how weird this period in between can be!.

I don't really know when I will be starting but have had the HIV and Hepatitis blood tests.

Just waiting to see what the next steps will be.
