Evening all, just a few questions. My sleep is a bit rubbish and I'm extra tired at the moment. I bought my sister magnesium spray and she says it works amazingly for sleeplessness. Does anyone know if this is safe to use during pregnancy? I heard it was very good thing to use in first few months but there is no recommendation on the pack.
Also how about fybogel for constipation?
Thanks xxx

really not sure, but walnuts are high in magnesium. You could make walnut milk and add that to smoothies (if you have a nutribullet, throw about 7 walnuts with water in, blend for 1 min, then you have milk)..
Worth a try if you are concerned about the spray. My sleep is terrible too, might go back to this...
I'd check with Dr re Fybogel... i have no idea, sorry. xx
I used to take magnesium supplement too really helps with tiredness I agree. I'd just check both with your midwife as tiredness and constipation are standard symptoms in pregnancy which come and go. Are you still taking your pregnacare multi vit? I resumed taking them and they really helped
I will check, am only on week 3 so not due 6 week scan until early Aug. Yes still taking pregnacare. I'm going to the toilet loads in the night and struggling to get back to sleep after. I guess this probably won't change Just trying to give it all the best chances from day 1. Thanks for your help xx
Your symptoms will come and go through the 9months at your early stage I wouldn't take anything at all if you can help it. You found out so soon too congratulations x
Thanks, we had icsi beginning of July so my test day was only on Monday. But called to book my appointment on Tuesday and nurse said to read up on NHS health guidelines so really going for it! I will try not to resort to taking anything if I can help it. The walnut smoothie sounds like a good idea xx
