Looks like I'm about to begin my first 2WW since lap ekk!

β€’22 Replies

Hi everyone.

This my first month of TTC since I had my laparoscopy done last month- which endometriosis was found and treated- an explanation after 5 years and 10 months of TTC. Period was much more manageable since lap. I invested in clear blue dual hormone sticks ( i wanted to give us a good chance and to see what my cycle is doing). So I had estrogen rises on days 9,10 and 11 of my 28 day cycle. And today on day 12 I have detected my Lh surge. Looks like my hormones are working better ( i used to see lh surge cd 8 which consultant said was too early in cycle). As from tomorrow I'm officially in the 2ww ekk! I had a bit of flare up with my pain on left side ( yes where the endo was) I'm hoping this is due to ovulating. Seeing our consultant 27th July. Exciting times!!!!

All the best to everyone else on this tough journey- the way we keep going is nothing short of heroic and we should all feel proud of ourselves. 😘 Lots of luck to you all xoxo
