Final LH question...

Sorry me again about my LH Surge.

So I tested again this morning and used a digital one. I got a flashing smiley face.... I am so confused as yesterday with the line tests I got 2 postives for LH Surge. Today indicates it will be in the next day or two now.

My temp has not spiked too...

I had the flu jab yesterday, would this have any impact?

Or have I had false positive? Or could thus digital one be incorrect?

Worried we may have to forget it all again this month :(

I have never been able to temp chart properly. My results seem to be all over the place. It might be that I can't do the same time every morning or I forget to do before I get up. But it has just never worked for me. My temperature seems to be all over the place.

Sorry I can't be any help. Good luck xxx

I know, it’s so stressful and confusing.

When I get my positive on the test strips, it usually lasts two days with the second day not quite as bold of a line. After you get your first positive test, it should be about 12-36 hours before you ovulate. It’s usually the next day.

As for the temp, it shouldn’t rise until after ovulation. Because you’re testing in the morning, you won’t see a rise until the morning after ovulation. I too have had trouble with temping. My temps were all over the place. It seriously affected my sleep and I could never get more than 3 hours solid sleep before testing. It caused a week delay in my ovulation. I didn’t ovulate until after I stopped temping.

Is it possible to go in for a scan today to confirm that you ovulated? They’ll probably count the day after your first surge as your ovulation day.

Good luck with everything! It sounds like you should be able to proceed this month as planned.

Thank you. My doc is going to call tomorrow and decide if we continue with this month or scrap this and go again next. They are also confused by my positive and then flashing face again. It is so hard to make sure you are doing the best to get the best results.

I get that with temping too, I think I am going to scrap it totally if we have to go again. It has caused more stress than needed I think.

Thanks again

Also asked about scanning and they said they don't for a natural round, would very much like it if they di though to at least check lining :/

Im having the similar dilemas to you! Ive had two lines on OPK sticks the last two days (even although that was CD9 & 10???) but dont think they are strong enough to actually mean ovulation....from what Ive read anyway. It is massively confusing when we're not used to doing this! As for temping this is my first month too so no advice. I would just keep going with the weeing on sticks to see how it goes again tomorrow!xx

Yes, it is, and I feel like the clinic could tell me more too. I am going to scrap the temps it causing too much stress! Hope you get a clear result soon too! xx

You have some broken lines on your chart which suggests you either missed a day here or there or took temps at a different time. The timings have to be consistent for accurate charting. I charted 27 cycles. As you know I’ve given up now because I got bored but my temperatures always confirmed ovulation had taken place. I suggest switching from the flashing clearblue digital to the ones that only show positive or negative, that way there can be no confusion. A negative is an open solid circle ⭕️ and a positive is a solid smiley 🙂 - no flashing. I only have one left and I’ve been saving it. I’ve been using internet cheapies. On cd14 I started testing (eek, it was a bit late to start) and got a negative although when I looked at the lines there were two there. Still a negative though. Tested three times every day since, only one line every time. Now I’m cd 22. Only one line today on the cheapies but two again yesterday morning. Either I ovulated on cd13 (never ovulated that late in 27 cycles) or I’m not going to ovulate this month. I had a bfn last month so maybe it’s messed everything up big time. I’m just going to have to write this month off xx
