you'll be fine! When I had mine I had period type pain as the dye was put in and a tiny bit of bleeding after. Its fairly quick. Best wishes xx

I found mind slightly uncomfortable but was fine afterwards and went back to work xx

Whilst not comfortable, it does not last very long at all...a minute or two at most. You will be fine. Take a sanitary towel with you as you may bleed afterwards...the NHS-issue ones are circa 1950 and horrendous :)

Thank you ladies, that's made me worry less now I know how quick it is and thank you CountryCat I had completed forgot about the pad!! Are you able to see for yourself if your tubes are blocked or is it just on a screen that they can see? X x

Hi Phillipsjp. Hopefully all done and dusted by now and it wasn't too bad. If not, it can be uncomfortable, so if you should be offered any sedation, then take it, just in case. Hope all goes/has gone well for you. Diane

It's a slight cramping pain, not very nice but totally manageable. Hopefully you e had it now and found it ok xx

Well ladies finally back and your were right it was nothing to worry about. Cramping when they put the catheter in and a bit stingy when they put in the dye but definitely manageable. Bit crampy now, but no worse than my normal pmt. Good news, Fallopian tubes are clear which is great, but now more baffled as to what is causing the infertility as now all tests have have come back fine, so must just be unexplained which is frustrating, but will now concentrate on next Thursdays appointment at the clinic! Thanks for all of your advice 😀❤️ x x x
