Small ball under my skin? Anyone else have this? I'm 11 weeks, got 6 injections left. I'm brusing terribly which you would expect but when to a/e and said it's a suspected haemtoma. Seems to have gone down so fingers crossed x

I haven't had this but fab news you have so little injections left to do I have 4 left and my scan is Saturday when I'll be 12weeks plus 2 days! Getting a bit anxious now but all the signs are there so staying positive, hope your scan is soon too xx

Yes I did.. The midwife and doctor told me it was normal and not to worry... I injected clexane twice daily until I was neatly 18 weeks pregnant.... Now I stopped starting to go down... All the best xxx

Del92 I read the title and had a little chuckle to myself. When I was doing clexane injections I got the ball under the skin one night and text my friend who is a nurse asking her if I had caused damage. 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was anxious about doing the injections anyway so when i saw the bubble I was thinking about it being really dangerous getting air bubble in veins. Obviously it's not even into a vein. I still laugh at myself for the text I sent her.

Definitely. I've been going to counselling recently and had just mentioned about the worries I had over injections.

It's a simple injection (talking about gonal f then the clexane) but the anxiety I used to have was ridiculous. Am I doing it right? Argh, can't get this bubble out- if I get it out by pushing it out then I loss solution: will this affect things? What if it doesn't work because I pushed that air bubble out.

I was so glad when I didn't need to prepare the clexane. They were sore in comparison but at least I didn't have the anxiety of making them up. When I saw the bubbles that are already in them I couldn't believe the ones that I used to stress over when I was doing the gonal f ones.

In my first pregnancy I took a really bad reaction to penicillin so ended up finding it really difficult to inject in a bit of skin that wasn't covered in welts. There wasn't a bit that wasn't bruised from the injection or had a welt. 🙈

Bubbles, needles, timing- all in a days work of getting where we want to be. 💪🏼

How long did yours last? X

in reply toDel92

The first time I done the injections for 6wks and second time 5wks.

If the pregnancy had continued I'm sure they said it was until 36 weeks.
