As title says we've got our follow up appointment with our consultant on 27th July.
I have spoken to my consultant after my laparoscopy- I know my tubes are clear, ovaries are normal and he removed endometriosis from the pouch of Douglas.
We are hoping to be given the option of trying for a few months before considering private IVF.
We will start TTC after my next period to give my body a chance to recover from the surgery.
Hi jess1981. Well, you've all be hoovered and sorted now - not before time! If anyone deserves treatment to go the right way, it's you! Thinking of you BIG, and giving you all the hope that I can. Diane
Thank you so much Diane that means a lot. Hoovered out love it haha! I couldn't have got through any of this without the kind support of everyone here. X
Just wanted to say I'm in a similar situation... had my laparoscopy a week today to find out what was going on in my remaining tube. They repaired my tube and got rid of the very small amount of fluid and endometriosis.
Luckily I work with my consultant so she came to see me the same day and told me she wanted me to try naturally for 3 months. She normally says 6 months but knows just how impatient I am 🙈... so I imagine your consultant will hopefully say the same, to try naturally for a bit.
X
I can understand that- I'm not very patient either and this process hasn't made me patient haha!
I don't know about you but now I've been "fixed" feel quite excited about trying again- haha I wonder how long that feeling will last!!
Glad to hear your tubes been fixed, fluid and endometriosis removed. Its amazing what these experts can do.
Hopefully now we are both "fixed" we can just fall- wouldn't that be nice 😁
No I'm the same... to be fair I would say we have been patient enough though!
I do feel a lot more positive now but am still trying to be realistic. My consultant gave me a 30-40% chance of conceiving naturally so not a massive chance but still better than before!
