So I just got home after my first fertility acupuncture appointment. I'm not sure it's for me. It was a very strange feeling and one of the needles in my arm really hurt! Well I gave it a go and you live and learn

Oh no sorry you had a bad experience, I've jut got back from mine too and was so relaxed I feel asleep ha ha if the needles continue to hurt after around 30 seconds you need to tell them and they will take them out and move them- are you going to a fertility specialist acupuncturist? Xx

Well she has a lot about fertility on her website. Not sure if she is a specialist. Living in the middle of nowhere just finding someone full stop was a triumph!

If she has a lot about fertility on their then I suspect she is, I think it took me a good 8-10 sessions to really get in to it but I know a lot of people like reflexology too so maybe worth giving that a go ️xx

Yeh I reckon that might be more me though I really hate my feet and tried to hide them away as much as possible!

Hi, you are not alone. I tried it too and it is definitely not for me. I did feel fairly chilled afterwards, but did not enjoy the actual session and for the cost, felt it wasn't worth it.

Other ladies swear by it, so I really wanted to love it...but no.

I didn't like my first session, then changed practitioner abs really really like it now... though I'm not sure it's doing anything!

It wasn't for me either. 3 session later I decided to admit defeat and turned to reflexology. I don't think it's scientifically proven but I absolutely love it so think that's half the battle, and it's half the cost too!!

I was exactly the same! I stuck with it though and got my bfp, this time I'm doing it again, the needles still hurt to go in but now they don't hurt after they are in and I'm more relaxed! Best thing is to tell your acupuncturist and she can reposition them x
