Hi everyone,

Five days ago I started my Buserelin injection. I was fine, however, since yesterday I have an awful headache. I'm drinking o lot of water, try to drink max two coffee a day and eat healthy. I'm so excited, can't wait next month.

The headaches are awful but all too common I'm afraid. Keep drinking lots of water and try a couple of paracetamol with one ibuprofen (ibuprofen should be ok to take at this point but check with your clinic) it's the only combo that works for me, in general. I even tried CoCodamol for the Buserelin headaches, migraine relief patches etc but I found in the end that lying down quietly with a hot water bottle (of all things!) on my head really helped x

My clinic advised not to take ibuprofen. I will definitely try paracetamol x

Hope you'll feel better in a few days... I think your doctor is right prescribing you some pills. Is this your first ivf cycle? Keep positive attitute and evrything will be all right. Wish you all the best xx

Oh, I understand then Hope it will be successful and you'll get your long-awaited baby. Where do you do your treatment? Is it a good place? You must be trust your doctor. I'm convinced that's the most important thing here x

Our treatment is in Centre at Life in Newcastle. Our first appointment we had last year in November. To be honest, everything is going so well. All stuff is very helpfull. I'm little bit anxious about egg retrieval but I need to think positive

Great you've found good clinic and are get high quality service there. I believe you don't have to be anxious about the egg retrieval. Usually it's done with narcosis and you don't feel anything. Wish you have mature eggs and embies. Good luck x
