Acupuncture views

Hey has anyone done acupuncture before starting there treatment cycle? Thinking of doing a few before I start? X

I know lots of girls on here swear by it.i did it for many years and it didn't do much for me but I've recently heard a lot of good things about reflexology x

I've just switched from acupuncture to reflexology actually. It's not scientifically proven I know but I enjoy it so much that I think that alone has benefits. I do think it depends hugely on the practitioner though so if you can gobble recommendation I certainly would.

I think my personal view is try it if you can afford it and if you find it helps you mentally then it may be helping physically too.

I love my acupuncture! Started it in Sept even though my treatment didn't start til Jan! I go to a guy that specialises in infertility but he's helped me with loads of stuff, from regulating my periods (length and flow) to fixing my insomnia/anxiety/digestion...one week he fixed my back when I had a few twinges and even helped with a bad cough (crazy as I know it sounds)...the stuff I can't see is that it's supposed to help with your eggs maturing and sets up your insides to receive an embryo but improving blood flow to the area. I'm in the 2ww so have been having it twice a week since egg collection.

Dunno if it's all hocus pocus but it makes me feel good 😁

I've been having acupuncture since November, after our first failed round, and just on a break over the 2ww 😬 my egg quality was much better this time, but whether it was down to the acupuncture I'm not sure, but he is a fertility specialist, and like Oakey he really helped with my sleep, or lack of it, calmed me down, and got rid of my period pains! If it chills you out, and makes you feel better then I would give it a go! Where are you based? Xx
