I am interested to start an acupuncture treatment to increase my fertility and to reduce stress.
I haven’t start any IVF treatment my Gp suggested to wait until December/January before refer me to any treatment. I’m not good in waiting at all 😫
Everybody suggest to relax and try to not think about it too much and the baby will come naturally but obviously it’s difficult not to think about something u want so much!
Does anyone have experienced acupuncture ?
For how long ? And how much does it cost? And is it worth it?
Any other suggestions to make this waiting time easier??😫

I’m also not big on waiting, but we are 3 years into our journey for baby number 2 now. Do you know if you actually have a problem with your fertility? It took us well over 2 years to get our daughter naturally and I suspected we had a problem but we have only known we really do have a problem for the last 2 years. I have regular acupuncture alongside my IVF cycles. It’s not cheap at £42 per session and I go weekly. It helps to relax me, and encourage blood flow during my cycles. It might be worth having a chat with an acupuncturist local to you and see what advice they have, to see if it would be worthwhile for you. Find somebody who specialises in fertility x
We have been to a fertility clinic privately , and after the scan, sperm test and blood test the answer was that there isn’t a particular issues with my fertility. However, We have been trying for more then one year, I have been tracing my ovulation every month!
I am starting to get anxious so I will book a consultation with an acupuncture specialist, I hope it will help to reduce the stress 😢
I atarted acupuncture following my last chemical pregnancy in anticipation of my frozen cycle, I found it very relaxing and I’m convinced it helped to rebalance my body as the FET worked and I’m now 18w pregnant 😊I’m not saying it’s a miracle cure for infertility but I certainly think anything that helps reduce the stress of TTC is a good thing! I highly recommend it. Each session cost £45 but I think it will depend on the area you live, my acupuncturist trained under Zita West 👌
I did accupuncture once a week during my cycle and it helped. I do believe they help and in some parts of the world, acupuncture is a regular part of IVf treatment. It also helps with other aches and pains such as headaches. I’m still continuing with it as it helps me relax and I’m in my 18th week of pregnancy! It is costly (mine is £60) but I go every fortnight.
Yes I definitely recommend. It got rid of my endometriosis. It has come back since I stopped going due to financial reasons. It was the one thing that worked.
