Ivf round 2 coming up change of protocol to help with egg quality

PSOS diagnosed round 1- change protocol from Gonal F to menopur plus metformin to aid egg quality. Experiences? Better result?

On cycle 1 I had gonal f and luveris then round 2 gonal f and menopur. I have low Amh. 2nd time I got slightly fewer eggs bit better quality although I also too dhea 2nd time around xxx

Thankyou , I have really high amh so loads of eggs but they were all rubbish quality. Do u thing the menopur helped? What else did you do? I'm trying a low carb diet and ubiquinol q10 and inofolic . Fingers crossed! X

Thanks mrs..I got the book it starts with the egg and followed some advice there. I took dhea, cooked recipes from zita west and exercised more. I also did yoga and mindfulness..all helped me to chill more..good luck xxx

Thankyou I'll have a look at that. Just about being more relaxed and staying positive too I guess! Been exercising more too and eating low carb so fingers crossed. Thanks for the advice xx

I think I saw them write metformin on my notes for this time round although I'm not sure but I had bad quality eggs last time I have my blood tests on Tuesday and signing my documents for round two so il double check. I was on Menopur last time and I think I'm going on it again . I had 13 eggs last time but only 2 made it to day 3 and they were borderline 4 cells instead of 6-8 cells which they should be by day 3 x

Wish you the best of look for round 2n not far behind you I'm hoping to start in about 4 weeks. I hear they learn a lot from the first cycle. Xx

They're changing my drug protocol for round two as well, I got nine eggs but only three mature and only one fertilised. This time I'll have gonal f as well as extra menopur, a bit extra pregnyl and have to take the trigger injection 37 hours before instead of 36. Really hope it works this time!
