Post Norethisterone & not bleeding???

Hi Ladies,

IVF Round 1 - im due in for my baseline scan tomorrow. Finished taking Norethisterone on the 2nd but im still not bleeding. Anyone had this? Would really appreciate any advice? Will they abandon my round?

Don't worry! It takes me 4-7 days after last pill, this time it was 7 days 1st time was 4 days, 2nd time was 5 days so it can vary, I'm sure your clinic will still scan you don't worry very common xx

And no they won't abandoned your round, they will rescan.....my 1st go I didn't come on in time for the scan had to go back 2 days later by then I was bleeding only 1 day and lining was still too thick the next day I went in and was good to go and started stimms, it'll only postpone by few days not cancel,

I had exactly the same on my first cycle and it looks like I'm going to have the same now on this one but my first cycle took 10 days to arrive and this time round I'm currently waiting for it I stopped taking the norethisterone on the 1/1.

Don't panic they won't stop your cycle my clinic was giving me up to day 11 if still no AF then they were going to put me back on the norethisterone. They is loads of stuff they can do so don't panic because stress won't help bring your af on. Good luck lovely xxx

I came on, on day 4 after stopping in December, and I'm just about to stop it again tomorrow, they said to me if may affect me starting my injections by a day or so if I come on later than 3 days after I stop (I'm on short protocol). I got myself in a right pickle last month, but rang my clinic and they were very reassuring.xx
