Good morning ladies. A little update on my bump. Due to me going into early labour last year at 24 weeks & losing my little girl, I'm now under a specialist. The reason for the early labour is still unknown but I did contract GBS (group B strep) and this is what they found in the umbilical cord & placenta π’.
Week before last I had a scan and my cervix measured 31m. Yesterday I went (10 days later) & my cervix is now measuring 17m. They've put me on Cyclogest to help strengthen my cervix area. If this doesn't work they will put a stitch in my cervix. I've been told I'm high risk of a premature pregnancy again and I'm absolutely crapping myself.
I'm 17+2 (IVF) but they moved my date on the 12 weeks scan by 4 days so 17+6. I've not enjoyed any part of this pregnancy up to now, every day is a worry π’. I've been off work for 12 weeks with anxiety and go back on gradual hours this coming Monday. To be honest I'm looking forward to it & my managers have been really supportive.
We found out we're having another girl ππ£ππ£ππ£. I just keep hoping and paying this little baby will stay put until it's safe to come out ππ»ππ»ππ» Xx

Hi Cathie-K. Goodness me! What a lot you have suffered! I know my ladies in similar circumstances tend to end up with a "stitch" just to err on caution. You're nearly half-way through your pregnancy, which is great. I'm sure they will be keeping an extra eye on you, to ensure you of success. Thinking of you. Diane
Just wanted to send you all my best wishes for this pregnancy. I am not surprised you have felt anxious with everything you have been through. I hope that you find it helpful going back to work on Monday. Take care of yourself xx
You poor thing, certainly sounds like you haven't been given an easy ride. I'm so sorry for your precious loss lovely and I have every thing crossed for you that this precious little angle who IS going to arrive for you. Will arrive safely. Going back to work will hopefully keep your mind busy and occupied, so leaves you less time to worry, I look forward to hearing she has been born, keep positive lovely. I will be thinking of you xxx
What a journey Hun! I totally appreciate your anxiety! We lost our baby boy at 36 weeks due to placental insufficiency and we are now 19 weeks 3 days pregnant.. But it looks like I have the same issue.. Every day is a worry and it's tough!! They will be monitoring you so closely and I know nothing I can say can take away your anxiety but look after yourself, rest and the stitch may make all the difference! Also premature baby's get amazing care these days so your little one wil have every chance.. Our baby is likely to be delivered at 34 weeks or before.. Everything crossed for u xx try to keep occupied even if not working if you can because too much time to sit and think doesn't help! Hard when u need to rest! Take care good luck xx
Hi huni, omg you have been through it as well. It's so hard especially when we have to go through the treatment to get our BFP. I wish u all the luck in the world, hope u don't mind but I'm going to follow u, I'd love to see everything has gone well for u. ππ»π£β€οΈοΈ Xxx
