23 Weeks and CERVIX going strong! 💪🏽

Morning All!

3 things to report 😁

1. So we have reached week 23, a bit of a milestone for us given my history...😅

2. Even better news, I was discharged from the Prematurity Clinic 2 weeks ago🙏🏼😊 as Cervix is absolutely perfect and it seems the two little unicorns 🦄 🦄 are doing well without any complications. I will still be monitored and they will peek at the cervix going forward so we are very happy. 👨🏻👩🏻💯❤️

3. Placenta Previa is moving along nicely with only 12cm of its edge left to move away from my cervix and feeling much less pressure on my lower abdomen as I was feeling quite delicate the last 4 weeks or so. Will know more at next weeks appt 💪🏽😅feeling hopeful ✨✨✨✨✨✨🍀🍀🍀🍀

So yes, that's it....have our Twins Baby Shower the 5th August (tad early) but happy it's early as I already look like I'm 8 months with our belly measuring 38cm 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽. Also have to find a new home 🏡 house hunting is crazy but it's all fun, we will look back and laugh, all will be worth it ❤️🦄❤️🦄✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Hope each and everyone of you aré going strong, be it positive or negative the road is long and very bumpy but the finish line can be reached with a few stop overs ok! ☝🏽..just pick yourself up and take those last small steps to the finish line 🍀✨🦄🌈🍀✨🦄🌈🍀✨🦄🌈

Hi great news. I just had my 20 week scan this week where they picked up a low lying placenta. They didn't say how much though, just have a scan at 32weeks to see how it's going.

Hola! We were the same, I guess they just hope as it's found so early that it moves as baby grows, I hear it happens a lot. Including us, never told us how much of it was covering the cervix but at my 22 week scan (being monitored closely as its twins) they confirm only 12cm of the edge of placenta is covering my cervix/womb entrance and that it's moved so try not to over think and please stay off your feet. I think that too has helped xxx Good luck!

I think they only advise stay off your feet with twins! The sonographer just said it was low and that I'm already due to see the consultant in August and that was it. Good old google then the midwife supplied me with the rest of the info . Just means no flying so more interruption for my job.

You are very prepared with the baby shower. I'm only just getting used to saying baby! Don't want to think about the birth!
