Due for egg transfer what happens next?

Hi ladies I've had two calls day one and three saying my 8 eggs have fertilised great and are now going to day 5 to blastocyst stage, which gives me even more hope. What should I expect when they call me tomorrow to go for this transfer? Is it uncomfortable? Do I need to prepare like I did for egg collection or is it much simpler? Hope your all doing well on your journey. This is my first ivf journey and I'm 37 but I have every hope this will work out for me and my husband x

Hey Hun! Your transfer is very much like a smear test and it doesn't hurt at all. I went straight to work after mine. Hope all goes well! Good luck 😊 Xxx

Great news on your embies so just stay calm as you can. The transfer is the easy bit. Not much to it apart from I had to go with a full bladder so the can scan you externally as they implant. They even showed the whoosh of the embryos and their fluid on the screen and gave us a photo to go home with!!

Had egg transfer yesterday, had slight cramping in the evening of the transfer. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I be looking for now? 2ww is going to be a killer x
