Only 2 eggs

Hi all

Just returned from my egg collection and sadly only got two eggs, although they are pleased with them. I'm really disappointed as the lady in the bed next to me got 12! Has anyone else had success with just two eggs. On the plus side husbands sperm count has gone from 5.5 million to 20 million.

I know how heartbreaking it feels, although we got 11 eggs, only 1 fertilised! Hoping they're both strong and develop well for you! Quality rather than quantity is what i keep getting told! X

That's true quality rather than quantity. I know exactly how you feel we got 1 but our 1 did fertilise. Sadly it didn't result in pregnancy but it does only take 1xx

Hi Tonibrowne, I was just thinking of you from an earlier post you had written. I hope you are well. I hope the next few days go well for you and your eggs! I had egg collection today and got 5 eggs, so keeping our fingers crossed. We can only stay positive and take one day at a time. Is this your first round? It is mine. Sending you positive vibes! X

Hey please don't worry as I got 19 eggs with 9 fertilising but only one developed good enough to be transferred. I thought what's my chances with 1 but I'm currently sitting feeding my 4 month old boy 😊. So it only takes that lucky 1! X

Hi there

I only had 1 collected & last time I had none!😥

My clinic have frozen my 1 embryo & they are going to try & collect 1 more in jan so they can put 2 back.

If they don't get one in jan, it will be a case of transfer the one. I think all we can do is have hope & faith that our 1 will be strong enuf to do the trick.
