Can anyone help...

I had a hysteroscopy exam on Thursday and I've started having really bad discharge. Did anyone have this? Could it be an allergic reaction?

Hi KAM, was the exam to remove a polyp and did they remove it? And is the discharge bloody? After mine I had dark brown /red discharge pretty much until my period came, which was about 10 days after. Apparently quite normal. X

Hello.. thank you for your reply. No nothing was removed. They found a polyp but didn't remove it there and then. I was having an ultrasound and she said she'd like to do a hysteoscopy exam whilst I was there. I had the exam on the Thursday and the discharge came 2 days later. Do you think it's normal? X

Hi K_A_M. Sorry to hear this. Hopefully you will have been prescribed a course of antibiotics afterwards, which is usually offered. Need to get checked out if it persists, or becomes smelly. Hope all soon returns back to normal. Diane
