Spotting whilst taking Progynova... Is this the norm??!

Hi, I've just started my treatment and have to take 8mg of Progynova daily for 10 days before my scan. Has anyone taken this and did they experience cramping and spotting? Thanks 😳

Hi, i was on this for my fet last month, didn't really get any side effects that I noticed! Hope the spotting has stopped by now! Xxx

Hi CGR35. I'm afraid it is a common side effect of any oestrogen related drug. Hopefully it will settle down. It's working on building up your womb lining before your scan. Diane

Thanks ladies. I spoke to a nurse who advised it is quite a normal symptom, just wish I knew beforehand so I wasn't so worried when it started. Scan today 😁 Xx
