Anyone else’s period delayed whilst taking Buserilin?

Hi everyone

I’m currently on day 13 of down regulating with Buserilin injections. I was told to expect my period 7-10 days after starting but I’m on day 13 now and it still hasn’t arrived. I’ve been feeling very pre-menstrual for the past 7 days like it could arrive any minute but so far nothing! Starting to feel a little uncomfortable and frustrated.

Has anyone else’s period arrived later than suggested whilst taking Buserilin? X

Hi Rose53. Try not to worry, it will start in the best few days. Some take longer, but it won’t affect anything. Good luck! Diane

Hi Rose I was also told 7-10 days - 10 days would have been my normal period due date but it turned up about 4 days later. I think it's often late for many people taking buserilin. I was told if you don't get it by the baseline scan date it just delays the scans a little. Don't worry, if you're normally fairly regular it'll turn up soon xxx

Hi Rose! I was also late on Buserelin. I think mine arrive by day 13 and my usual period should have come on day 7 or 8. It's frustrating but unfortunately normal 😊

Wishing you the best of luck with your cycle xxx

Hi lovely. Have you had any spotting? I had really light spotting at about Day 7 which then stopped about day 11, like, so light, I didn’t wear a pad or anything. Went for my baseline scan and she said that that was my period! I wish they were all like that! Normally they knock me off my feet for a couple of days! Xx

Hello :) no, I haven’t had anything yet. I’ve been feeling very pre-menstrual for the past week, even crampy at times, but so far no sign! I hope everything is going well with your cycle xx
