I have a 12 year old daughter and have been ttc for the last 11 years with no luck.
About 10 years ago I had a laperoscapy and was found to have blocked and fused tubes.
They did what they could but a year later I was back again and this time I was told I had endometriosis as well as my tubes being blocked and fused again.
One tube was basically dead and it was removed.
Fast forward to now and I am back on the waiting list for another laperoscapy to see why I am still struggling to conceive.
In the past the Dr's have spoken about maybe having IVF which I know is expensive but I was wondering if I would be able to have CLOMID and if so how much would this cost and what would my chances be of conceiving?
I would appreciate any advice that you could give me.
Thank you for your time!

Hi AlienofBlue. Only just read your post. Sorry to read about all your problems with blocked tubes and endometriosis. Hopefully when you have your laparoscopy your consultant will be able to reduce the endometriosis for you. You mentioned the possibility of using Clomid. Unfortunately you would need at least one functioning Fallopian tube to be able to try this, which unfortunately you do not have. Because of this, it would seem that your only option would be to have IVF, unless somehow your remaining tube could be unblocked and your endometriosis treated. Obviously I wish you well with whatever is decided. Diane
Hello AlienOfBlue! I am so sorry for all that happened to you. You are very lucky to have a daughter. there are people out there like me that do not have even a single child. I think you would need a Fallopian tube for CLOMID and IVF would be more effective for your case. Money does not really matter when it comes to achieving happiness so, I think you should go for IVF.
