How long do you have to wait to try again

Just wondered if you get a negative result , hoe long do you have to wait to try again ?

About 2 or 3 clear periods.

Hi! I think I had my first cycle in the Feb and my fet in the may so it was 2 periods following my failed fresh cycle. I think it's good to let your body recover in between. Good luck xxx

Hello. Most clinics like to wait for a couple of months. To let your body recover. I sometimes went longer. Depending on how I felt. X

Hi, I would suggest around 3 months but ask your doctor. I always took a lot longer as I had to save up for each round of ivf plus I was devastated when it wasn't successful so I wasn't in the tight head space to go again so soon after. I was advised by my acupuncturist that it takes three months to prepare the environment of your womb properly. Before my last ivf I looked into this seriously and every nutritionist, alternative therapist etc all suggested min three months to prepare. But go with your guymt, only you know what time you need to bounce back and when you're ready. I wish you the very best of luck, X..

It totally depends on your age, overian reserves and personal circumstance. If you're up against your biological clock then I wouldn't wait too long between attempts. Both of my clinics (one NHS and one private) have said that you need at least one cycle between treatments and depends on your mental state how quickly you can put yourself through it again. I would worry yourself about this yet, focus your positive energies into your first attempt as you may not need to think about this. Take each stage as it comes and good luck on your journey xx
