I had my HSG yesterday all looked good but they still don't understand why I am not getting any period only the fake ones with tablets. I wanted to know after the HSG how long would the cramping stomach pain last. As I am still in pain had to take day off work

Hi Indian-30. Well, at least that’s the HSG over and done with. Hopefully, the cramping should soon settle down with some rest and pain killers. Fallopian tubes hate being messed about with, and when you think how tiny they are inside, it’s no wonder we get cramp afterwards, after having so much fluid forced through them! Unfortunately, your tubes have no bearing on ovulation, which hopefully can eventually be remedied with medication. Thinking of you. Diane
