Hi there. I just have the avocado as a little salad on the side. Often I dress it with lime juice some fresh coriander and a bit of olive oil. Otherwise if you don't like that hot and cold food together thing then you could always have your avocado as a starter. Btw your supper sounds delicious! Exx
Sounds silly but what is the taste of an advocado?? I haven't had this before only because I don't know how to cook it or how to put it with food. I love fish but salmon is something I've adapted to since Ivf it's nice with olive oil, turmeric and peppers in grease proof paper for 25mins on 5. Try it you may enjoy. Thank for your advise. Lots of baby dust x x
Hmm hard to describe the taste. I would say though make sure you have a ripe one as a lot of avocado for me is about the texture and if they're hard they taste of almost nothing! I like the sound of your recipe. I always end up doing the same thing with salmon and cooking it in lime or lemon juice with herbs. Lots of baby dust to you too and let me know how supper turns out! Exx
Thanks Hun, I've woke up every morning for the last 3 days at 5 needing the toilet. A sharp pain wakes me up then it's gone. I've got a head ache most mornings now and slightly throughout the day and strange feelings in my boobs/nipples. I can't believe it's day 8 since ET. For the last two days I've wanted sweet things especially choc even though I'm off it for lent.... Ahhhhh! Is anyone else having my symptoms? X
Morning my dinner last night was amazing, apart from I felt like I had period pains and having a lot of creamy mucus down below. So I was worried I was ovulating... But on reading it's normal but I hope that's the case. I think I have piles coming as my back passage is soar, need the toilet a lot and a few pains. I'm not feeling to positive today if I'm honest first time in the two weeks I felt like this. Any advise would be good? x x
I've only really had avocados in fresh foods. Really nice with just apinch salt. Needs to be ripe though! Usually nearly black skin and slightly presses in. If it's hard, it isn't ripe. Mexican burritos often have avocados in them. Even milkshakes.
I bought the Deliciously Ella cookbook recently and she uses avocado to make a creamy pesto. Or you could make a salsa with some chilli and have it on the side if you like spicy food.
