Hi, I am 39 years old and suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis, recently I have been diagnosed with stage 2 endometrosis and after seeing gynae consultant was told it would be very unlikely to conceive naturally, I am now 6 days late with bad low back pain, what do you think, or what should I do, very frightened??

Hi UnaG. Well, I suppose if you have been actively trying to get pregnant, and your periods are normally regular, then you could do a pregnancy test tomorrow morning to check if you are or not. Could the low back pain be due to your rheumatoid arthritis, or does is resemble premenstrual discomfort? Are you going to be offered any treatment for the endometriosis, especially if it could be that causing the low back pain. I would do the test and then check with your GP if the pain persists. Hope all is soon sorted for you. Diane
