Im taking supercur at the mo and have chronic tooth ache is it ok to take painkillers and antibiotics.
Hi sjamalou. Ouch! Not nice having toothache. You are quite safe to take paracetamol tablets, but no more than 8 in 24 hours. Antibiotics should not be a problem either, as it should only be for a short time. I’m sure your dentist will advise you safely. Definitely no aspirin though, unless it has been prescribed for you. If it has, then you need to take this into consideration when estimating how much paracetamol to take. Hope it soon settles down. Diane

Hi. Yes, of course it is - just a local lignocaine injection that is used. Unless you would prefer a large tot of whisky and six people holding you down!! Joking apart - I hope it soon gets sorted for you, and maybe it won't need removing. Diane
