Hello everyone, as my title says I mild to moderate cramps intermittently on my lower abdomen. Sometimes it feels like there is pressure or pulling, it also feels like period cramps.
I don’t have a midwife for now, so no appointment booked.
my Gp tried reassuring me it could be the uterus growing. I need a bit of reassurance if anyone.
Thank you in advance .

Hi Cici. Yes it is. You have large ligaments supporting your womb, that will be moving with your womb as it starts to peep over your pubic bones. Hopefully that is all it down to, so have a rest when you can and see your GP should it get any worse. Good luck! Diane
Thank you , my Gp called the EPU on Wednesday and asked them to see me and he was told they will get in touch with me within 48hours. It’s over 48hours and I have not heard from them. I don’t know if I should call if I find their phone number.
I just did and I was told to go to AnE that EPU is to check the pregnancy is in the right place. She booked me for Monday for reassurance scan.
She advised I go to A&E, that they can check for keytone and all. My experience with A&E two weeks ago is a no go area . I choose to remain at home for now.
I will call the hospital I registered with to see if they can do anything too.
I’m 12 weeks on Sat & I’ve had the strangest cramps, pain, general discomfort the whole way through. It is so overwhelming because it’s hard to know if it’s normal. One weekend it was so bad, the pain was making me feel weak so I took a trip to A&E. They weren’t a bit concerned. I was scanned & all was fine. Ive come to the conclusion that as long as there is no bleeding then it’s normal pregnancy discomfort. Although some days i feel emotionally exhausted by it and the worry. Keeping busy is good, work during the week does that but weekends are harder as my mind wanders more! Best of luck! Xx
Thanks for responding I am 11 weeks on Saturday . I have had no bleeding at all only cramps which is off and on, I think the progesterone is playing a big part too.
I can’t wait to stop the progesterone my stomach is so sore from injecting since June.
