Low HCG after blood test

Today was my test day after first cycle. Did home test this morning which read pregnant 1-2 weeks. But blood test result was very low at 27. Have to go back on Monday for another test. Has anyone had low result then gone on to be pregnant. No bleeding but that could be due to the progesterone. This waiting is killing me!

I also had a low reading of 29 on first test and my second reading went up but still too low. I then had a scan a week later but it was about a week behind what it should be. I kept having weekly scans with it being too small. It only caught up at 10 weeks. Now I have a beautiful daughter. The waiting in between tests was worse for me than the two week wait. I never thought it would happen but it did. I hope this gives you some hope and I wish you all the best and hope it results in a pregnancy xxx

Thank you both for your replies, Miwa, yes you have given me a little hope. I don't know how you coped during those 10 weeks. Whatever the result on Monday I just hope it will be a confirmed yes or no, so I can at least start to prepare myself for my next cycle. Looking at other posts and forums it does seem that some embryos do develop at a different rate something that they don't mention. Oh we'll roll on Monday xxxx

We'll the outcome was negative and seeing as my AF started to show herself Sunday evening I wasn't surprised. Just attended the blood test as part of the routine. Having the weekend to get over it if you know what I mean, made today a lot easier. Oh well better for it to happen now and not later when I started to get use to the idea. Roll on next cycle xx
