Blood test - HCG 410

[JustStarting1]

So I've just had the amazing confirmation that I'm pregnant. So happy but still so anxious at the same time.

Today I'm 10dpt and my result was 410 which I think is good (anyone have a chart indicator?)

My scan is booked for three weeks time so there aren't any more bloods before that.

Is there a risk that high numbers could mean twins or does it just mean less likely to miscarry? I don't really understand this part and the figures.

That's a great result for day 10 so try to rest easy.....I know that is impossible but had to say it lol! High numbers could be twins of course but it might not be....there's just no way to know until you get that scan Im afraid!! Good luck.xx

Thank you. Yeah it's crazy , you spend years hoping for this day thinking it'll never come and then it does come and you can't be like a 'normal' person and get excited etc. X

My clinic don’t test for beta . My OTD is tomorrow but I tested positive this morning, will call the clinic tomorrow to give the news.

Congratulations, wishing you a long and healthy pregnancy!

I never had a blood test, my clinic just go by the pregnancy test results so i have no ideas regarding numbers. But I tested on 7dp5dt and line came up straight away and have already had a 3+ Weeks on a clearblue Test (at 5weeks 2days) which apparently you can only get when hcg is over 2753, so maybe try testing with them if you want to see progress.

The wait for the scan is even harder than OTD!

Firstly huge congrats to you!! 😁🎉 wow 410 that is really high! At 10dpt mine was 270 and I was told that was a really good number, so it's possible it could be twins for you! But also could just be 1, you wont know until your scan. And no unfortunately high numbers does not mean you wont miscarry I sadly miscarried that pregnancy at 11 weeks 💔. But im So pleased for you 💗 keep us updated xx

Oh I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. How heartbreaking for you. Was everything looking ok as well i.e your 6 week scan and HCG levels? Keeping everything crossed for another chance for you soon x

Thank you. It was very hard. Luckily I am 24 weeks right now from a natural pregnancy! Completely shocked as my chances of falling naturally were very low. I'm so blessed cant wait to meet my wee boy 😁💙 yes at my 7 week scan babys heartbeat was great everything looked perfect which is why it was such a shock when I miscarried. And my 2nd beta at 14dpt was 1550 so everything looked perfect it was more than doubling but sadly wasnt meant to be, I'm thinking must have been something wrong with the embryo.
