Blood test after a Positive test only at 40

Hello. You have all been so wonderful getting me through. I wondered if you could give me some honest advise. I had 3 positive tests the day before my blood test day. I was advised by my nurse to do this. Then I had my blood test yesterday and she said it has come back so low at 40. She said the chances of a viable pregnancy looks low.

Has anyone had any positive outcomes in this situation? I am crushed. It was my final FET as we cannot afford anymore. Then to be pregnant but to be told it won't stay that way is heartbreaking.

IVF is an expensive and emotional roller-coaster.

X

On which day after ovulation did you have the test? Anyway you should have another test after 2-3 days to see if the levels increase.

OK. Then your "expected period" would have been at 9dpt, and so the OTD must have been 2 days after expected period... According to the chart I looked at, the lower limit at 16dpo is 33, so a beta of 40 is not too low. But did you check again?

Hello. Sorry I took a few days rest off here. My bloods went down to 5.5. So I am now waiting for the inevitable period. So I was pregnant but then for whatever reason it didn't last. Heartbroken beyond words. This is probably the end of my journey now. This is such a supportive page. Thank you. I am very lucky to have a 7 year old he was my miracle all those years ago. How is everything with you? Is it all going well? x

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear 💔 I love that you have your miracle boy to keep you busy ❤ Maybe life didn't turn out to be what you imagined when you were young and all your life laid ahead (it didn't to me for sure!), but it can still be meaningful ❤ But take your time to grieve, rest, reset and refocus ❤ And try not to spoil your son complrtely, will you 😘😘😘
