I started the birth control pill 10 days ago as prep for my IVF cycle. What is worrying me is that I started the pill on day one of my period, and am still bleeding which pelvic cramps. This is very unusual for me as I normally have 2-3 day periods.
Anyone else experienced this?
Contact your infertility clinic and ask them advice as am not sure that's normal. Hope your feeling bit better today x
Hi maccerpops. Unfortunately, this can happen, and sometimes doesn’t stop until you start your stimulation drugs. I would give the clinic a ring just to make sure that they are OK with it, and try not to worry as it will get sorted. All the best for a successful outcome. Diane
