So after my first round of IVF failing a couple of weeks ago I had a really heavy and painful period which started on 4th July. It lasted 4-5 days as do my usual periods.
I have been having cramps since yesterday, and then had light red blood this morning which is now brown. It’s very light and only when I wipe. Having mild lower cramping too.
If I go by my first period since the failed IVF then I’m on day 10 of my cycle right now x
Sending lots of love you everyone here xx ❤️🙏🏼❤️

Hi, the only experience I have had was after a failed medicated FET. I had a period for 6 days and 10days later I had what appeared to be a second period only not as heavy but lasted 7days. I was told it was the medication that just played havoc with my cycle, that’s why they made me wait until July for my fresh round of IVF. Before embarking on further treatment my clinic like it all back to normal so to speak.
Hi AMum. It can take up to 3 months for your period to return to what is normal for you, so it's probably just down to your hormones sorting themselves out. Should it carry on after 3 months, then speak to your GP or specialist, in case you have a hormone imbalance. Good luck! Diane
