I know that you are not eligible for NHS funding of IVF treatment if you or your partner have a child but is this the same if a previous child is adopted?

Hi, I have wondered the same thing so I just checked my PCT and it says ". Once accepted for treatment, should a child be adopted or a pregnancy leading to a live birth occur, the couple will no longer be eligible for treatment" :(

I know the feeling! :( My husband thinks adoption would be the 'easy' option at the moment and that we just have to stay positive while there is still a chance we could conceive via IVF. Keeping everything crossed. x
