E.Coli in early pregnancy?

Has anyone been diagnosed with having E.Coli in their urine during early pregnancy?

My midwife has just asked me to give another urine sample tomorrow because the original sample given last week during my booking appointment has come back as having E.Coli in it.

Having googled the symptoms (and panicked!) the only thing I can relate to is fatigue - but had put that down to general early pregnancy anyway.

Has anyone else experienced this? Obviously I am now naturally worried I've done something to harm the baby 😔

Best not to Goggle too much .Urine infections very common in early pregnancy Make sure drinking plenty of water The good thing is it has been picked up If you have had no further symptoms [discomfort - smelly urine ] the sample may have been contaminated

Take care
