Very red boobs!

For the last week, my boobs are constantly red and hot to the touch. I showed my midwife earlier this evening who agreed and was a little surprised at how red they were. She said it could be to do with increased blood volume but asked me to see my GP to get it checked. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I am on aspirin which I appreciate increases the blood flow but even so, they are very red! They aren’t sore at all apart from occasional nipple soreness and itching.

Thanks!

How far along are you? I once had a patient who managed to develope mastitis before birth - but this seems unlikely if they don't hurt!!

I’m only 20 weeks, after a bit of googling I quickly ruled that out. They don’t hurt, a little bit tender occasionally but generally fine. They’re just constantly red 🙈 xx
