Hi, I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant via ivf with my 5th embryo transfer. Have previously had multiple losses via natural pregnancy and ivf. Last night I went to the loo and had a little pink/red blood on the tissue about the size of 50p. Since then it has just been brown spotting only when wiping. I've got no pain, or anything other than little pinching sensations that come and go. But with my history of bleeding it's never turned out good. Has anyone else experienced something similar and all turned out OK. My clinic have just told me to talenit easy and if gets heavy and painful to let them know. Just need some hope to help keep me positive xx

I had similar at that stage and it continued on and off until I was around 9 weeks. I had pink / brown spotting and some cramps and was terrified because of a previous loss but everything was ok. No cause was identified but I was told it could be irritation from the pessaries. My little boy is almost 10 months old now 😊

It's so hard but try to stay positive, this is a new pregnancy and there is every reason for it all to be fine.

I had on and off spotting until about 8 weeks. It really can cause anxiety and worry. Like the other commenter, no cause was also identified. Hang in there, rooting for you! x

I had pink and red spotting at 4 and 6 weeks but turned out to be some bleeding from where the embryo implanted. On the 7 week scan there were little haematomas in the uterine wall and the nurse said it’s really common to happen, some people lose the blood as spotting and others absorb it and never see anything.

I’m now 34 weeks and has nothing since then. Good luck, I know it’s an anxious time πŸ€πŸ€ xx

Update: the brown spotting is more like speckles on the tissue that comes and goes only when wiping. And yesterday when I was at a food festival Sickness kicked in... I'm feeling a little less anxious having Sickness. No pain or anything, so I'm just taking it that all is OK and brown speckles are normal.

I also had the red spotting on day of my 6w and 8w scan so the scans reassured me. I read that it sometimes can be irritation due to crinone gel that I am using.. sending you lots of positive vibes...
