Hi all,Well after 2 years of ivf, transfer number 5 worked and we are now 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy.
But my 20 week scan showed i have placenta accreta, just dont know how far its embedded. Placenta anterior & low lying saying 14mm clear of cervix.
My 3 children were born via csections so this is why they are concerned. Apparently the placenta can embed into the csection scar. Bk at 26 weeks for scan and 28 weeks for mri and then possibly deliver at 34 weeks.
Im not going to lie im so scared cos all the other stories i have read are scary and the thought of little guy coming so prem is scaring me more.
Does any1 have a success story and you & baby are fine.

Hi thereI've never experienced this myself, but am a midwife and have cared for two women in my career with accreta and both had a caesarean with a positive outcome 😊 if this is reassuring. Mum and Baby fine. It is a serious condition, but the NHS obstetric team are fantastic, and very skilled in these situations.
As for a baby born at 34 weeks. This is obviously early, but only 3 weeks from term (37 weeks). Pretty much all the development is done at that point, and every baby I have delivered at this gestation has done really well. Maybe a quick stint in NICU.
