At my 20 week scan I was informed I had a low lying placenta (posterior) but it wasn’t fully covering my cervix. I have a scan at 32 weeks to check if it has moved.
I’m due to fly next week (23 weeks) but have read a lot online of people getting told not to fly.
Just wondered if anyone else had been in this situation and what they were advised?
Thank you in advance

A low lying placenta is very common at 20 weeks pregnant and shouldn't be a risk unless it's covering the os which yours isn't.I had anterior low at 20 weeks during my first pregnancy (2021) and posterior low during second pregnancy (2023).
Both had moved well out of the way by mid third trimester (as most do).
Unless your Dr. has told you otherwise then you can pretty much proceed as normal and just follow the advice given at the scan.
Thank you, and thanks for your reply. When I had my scan they said was only partially covering but would probably move, but on my notes it says covering internal OS. Been trying to get on the phone to someone this morning for some reassurance but no luck! Still stuck on what to do.
I have just read your comment and feel a sence of reassurance by it. I was told my placenta is low prosterior not covering os at 20 and I was concerned and anxious reading online that prosterior placenta may not migrate like an anterior placenta. I have a scan due for my 30 week mark and praying for good news of it migrating. Can I ask what week did it migrate for you?
