Oh my, juat need to vent a little. Im in the uk wales. Last night I had a really big bleed, for context I'm pregnant via IVF 6w6d and I'm on clexane (warfarin) due to a problem with clotting. I was advised to go A&E , after waiting 4 hours I got triage, and was told I will need to wait a minimum 12 hrs to see a Dr who will refer me to a different hospital to the gynaecology dept. I rang said hospital to be told they wouldn't be able to help anyway. Angry, gushing blood I rang the on call ivf consultant who booked me in for a scan this morning. Good news the scan showed a healthy pregnancy, baby's heartbeat all looks OK. HOWEVER i have a big bleed in my uterus, they aren't sure why and also another bleed under my cervix. I have been put on bed rest and need to go for another scan next week. Has anyone experienced similar, and the baby has fine. Xx

Big bleed
yes my daughter did and it was sub chronic hemeatoma and is quite common ( very scary when it has happening as u always think the worst) she has to come of her clexane until the bleeding stopped and then restarted them and all was well and she now has two healthy 9 week olds x
I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm glad to hear that your baby is doing well and has a strong heartbeat. It sounds like you might be dealing with a hematoma, which can be common in early pregnancy and many women go on to have healthy pregnancies. Bed rest is definitely important right now. Take care and try to rest as much as possible. Keeping you and your little one in my thoughts. x
I am so sorry to hear about the bleed. I had a large painful bleed at a similar time and it turned out to be a large subchorionic haematoma. I was told these were common with IVF pregnancies and especially for those of us taking blood thinners. I was taking baby aspirin at the time and was told to stop it immediately. My clinic recommended working from home and taking it easy - no walking or standing for more than 20 minutes. The haematoma resolved itself by the 12 week scan and I have a healthy baby girl. Very best of luck!
