Hi recently joined this group & wanted to see if any one had any advice with medication timings .
I am currently 8 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby, I’ve been on Inhixa (blood thinning injections) since I started the stims for egg collection.
I had my viability scan this week and alls well so far, my consultant at the clinic has advised me to start taking 150mg Aspirin alongside the Inhixa due to severe preeclampsia /late loss in my first pregnancy . I usually do my injection at 7pm, I read that it’s best to take aspirin in the evenings so can I take them at a similar time or do I need to separate the timings ?
Thanks In advance. Xx

Hello. I was started by my clinic on Clexane injections (has the same drug as Inhixa) twice a day and Aspirin at mid day since stims. As far as I am aware, there's no contraindications to taking them together. For Aspirin, there's no better morning or evening time, rather what's more important is taking it on full stomach as it can irritate stomach lining if it is empty. You can confirm further with your clinic.
I was also on heparin (Clexane) once a day and also on 150 mg Aspirin. I was told by my consultant to take my aspirin before going to bed and regarding the time for the Clexane it didn’t matter as long I had the injections at the same time every day.
The only thing is that late in my pregnancy the consultant asked me to start having the Clexane injections in the morning, as he explained that women normally go into labour at night and if you want or need to have an epidural you need to have a minimum amount of hours since the last Clexane injection.
Good luck and I wish you a very smooth and healthy pregnancy ❤️ 🌈 ❤️🌈
