Cramps 32 weeks pregnant

Hi lovely people. I am currently experiencing fairly severe cramps that have been going on for about 24 hours. The cramps are low down front and back and basically continues. I have called the maternity triage this evening and she said it sounds like braxton hicks and to take some painkillers. I am kind of happy with this explanation but also when I Google braxton hicks it keeps saying nott painfull and more of a tightening of your stomach. Well I don't have tightening and this is pretty painfull. Ranging from sharp pain to dull ache. Also my thing is...when will this stop its been 24 hours so far!

Perhaps this is it now until I'm term and give birth, or maybe she is going to come early.

Could it be more painfull as she is breech?

Any experiences welcome 🙏 xxx

Hi. I hope you are doing better now.I would definitely insist on popping in at the triage unit. It could be Braxton hicks, but it is difficult to know that specially being a 1st timer.

N no, being breach does not cause more pain. It becomes different to head first vaginal delivery I later stages of labor only.

Hi,Thanks for this, hope you are well. I am feeling better this morning. The pain is still there a bit but comes and goes, seems to be worse at night. I will definitely contact them if it gets worse again.

hi, I don’t have experience with this but I would say definitely get checked asap. Maternity units try to keep you away sometimes as they are busy (heard this from friends).

If you think that something is wrong get checked asap x
